Letter styles mainly transform A–Z and 0–9. Chinese and other scripts stay unchanged; try frames and effects. Appearance and acceptance vary by device and app.
Three kinds of small text
Small caps use compact uppercase shapes on the normal baseline, as in ʜᴇʟʟᴏ. Superscript raises letters and digits, as in ʰᵉˡˡᵒ. Subscript lowers the characters for which Unicode provides a matching form, as in ₕₑₗₗₒ. Compare all three before choosing a style.
Copy tiny text without installing a font
Enter a short label, nickname or phrase and copy its preview. The result is made of different Unicode characters, so it stays copyable in ordinary text fields. It does not reduce the font size of Chinese text, emoji or every character in your input.
Why some letters stay full size
Unicode does not have a complete small alphabet for every script or style. Subscript has especially limited letter coverage; unsupported letters, Chinese and accents remain unchanged. Small text is best used as a short accent, with essential information kept in ordinary text for readability.
