Remove wrapped lines and preserve paragraphs
Text copied from a PDF can include a line break after every visible line. Choose “Join wrapped lines, preserve paragraphs” to merge those lines while keeping paragraphs separated by blank lines. You can also remove every line break or keep the line structure and clean only whitespace. Windows CRLF, Unix LF and older CR line endings are handled consistently.
Choose the separator for your text
English usually needs one space between joined lines so words do not run together. Continuous Chinese text may need no separator, while a list can use a custom separator. The cleaner does not guess word boundaries or remove end-of-line hyphens. Check the source if a PDF splits a word across lines.
Compare before replacing
The original and cleaned text stay visible together, and cleaning does not overwrite your input. Copy and TXT download use the current result. You can undo the last replacement or clear action. In paragraph mode, the blank-line option collapses repeated blank lines while retaining one blank line between paragraphs.
